Dmitriy Gerasimov — guest

Eliena: Hi Dmitriy. Welcome to Crypto Horses
We are proud to have you here today 🥰
Dmitry: Hi, Eliena, hi everyone!Eliena: So, without making a delay Let’s start our AMA with basic introduction 😇

Q1. Could you please provide a quick introduction about yourselves and your team for the community? What is your role in Cellframe network?

Dmitry: My name is Dmitriy Gerasimov and I am the CEO and CTO of Cellframe Network. I was educated in physics but switched to software development almost 20 years ago. I’m one of the founders of Demlabs, the parent company of Cellframe Network. To start with, at Demlabs we were focused on outsourcing, but the company now stands more akin to something like Ethereum Foundation. In late 2017, the company was split into parts, one of which is now known as Cellframe Network.

While working in the outsourcing business, my specialization was more related with low level development — network protocols, streaming, cryptography etc. It was cryptography that eventually got me involved into this space, whereas my physicist background helped me to realize the threat of quantum computers. While working on post quantum cryptography for multimedia streaming, my team and I found that these threats can be disruptive to traditional blockchains because they can’t change algorithms on the fly. That’s what got me deeper into the subject and gave me the inspiration to develop Cellframe Network. Our headquarters are located in Novosibirsk, Russia (where BTW we have recently acquired a new office) and the team has more than 35 members who work in teams on various projects in within Cellframe. You can check our website out for designations of prominent team members.https://cellframe.net/team/

For those who want to check the developmental aspect of the project, I request you to visit our GitHub. I am sure you would be happy with what you see. The project has been ranked 64th (in terms of GitHub commits in the past 3 months) by www.cryptomiso.com ahead of many other reputed projects.https://github.com/demlabs-cellframe

Q2. Can you briefly introduce the project Cellframe network & some of utilities? Also, what distinguishes Cellframe from other blockchains like Ethereum and Polkadot?

Dmitry: Cellframe is an open-source, quantum safe, 3rd generation, service-oriented platform that boasts the capabilities of both Blockchain and DAG and is well suited for both enterprises and retail. We implement many next gen features including multi-algorithm extendable signatures, interchain wallet addresses, peer-to-peer intershard communications, 2-level sharding, build-in payment system suitable for subscribe model, conditioned transactions for ledger-level DAO and other smart contracts operations, API for true-distributed applications (t-dApps) and more smaller features. As for the second part, we differ from other blockchains most of all because of our architecture and coding. Our platform has been coded from scratch using plain C. This permits the platform to interact with hardware capabilities of the equipment (unlike EVMs) and to build low-level services and dApps that can be run from a mainframe to a raspberry pie to a smart fridge. Our network’s architecture is based on dual layer sharding consisting of1) Cellchains (Upto 50 in number). Heterogenius shards.2) Cells (underlaying homogenius shards). While all these shards allow for independent governance, the Cellchains can interact with each other (without involving the Core Network, which acts as a bottleneck in networks like Polkadot) in P2P mode using Atomic Swaps. This allows for seamless intershard interactions and theoretically lightning-fast transactions. To sum it all, Cellframe Network strives to become an advanced platform for developing and providing low level and true decentralized services for mass adoption.

Q3. Can you share info about the total supply of $CELL & tokenomics distribution?Dmitry: Cellframe has a total supply of 30.3M tokens. We burned 565,000 tokens that were bought back which leaves 29.7M $Cell. We have 950.000 $CELL in the development funds, with a 25k vesting every 2 weeks. That leaves 95% tokens in circulation.Further more (as you can see on etherscan) the distribution of tokens among our holders is reasonably balanced with only a few whales. At the moment we have a tax on BSC transactions, that goes to the marketing wallet, which at the moment holds around $900k. These funds will be used for marketing, hackathons and project grants.

Eliena: Sounds good 😊

Q4. What are the Current & Future Roadmap Targets for Cellframe network?

Dmitry: We have already launched the following products:
✅Cellframe Dashboard (Beta)
✅Cellframe SDK (including Python binding)
✅Cellframe Node (with testnets)

Meanwhile we are working on the following milestones:
⌛️MAINNET is scheduled for launch somewhere around March 21st, 2022 after Penetration tests and Hackathons.
⌛️Security Audit
⌛️Bridge with Ethereum mainnet
⌛️Bridges with other blockchains on mainnet
⌛️WASM based smart contracts
⌛️Dedicated storage service
⌛️Metaverse (Cellverse): P2E Games, Decentralized VR-based modern arts museum and NFT marketplace.

Q5. We heard you mentioned ‘t-dApps’, as the better version of dApps. Can you explain how those work and what their implications are?

Dmitry: One of the original ideas behind smart contracts was decentralization, but as we all know these smart contracts are owned by an owner. Huge amount of funds can be stored in a single smart contract which goes against the idea of true decentralization & makes them prone to targeted attacks and loss of funds.$Cell allows cash flows from services to be distributed among service providers without having to pass through the owner of smart contract. Lacking a single owner or point of centralization, these services/apps are termed ‘t-dApps’ (true decentralized applications). A hacker can steal funds or keys from 1 smart contract, but it is impossible to hack hundreds or thousands of service providers participating in the running of t-dApps.These decentralized services are likely to be much cheaper and faster than the current dApps due to the implementation of conditioned transactions (information processed off-chain, thus avoiding unnecessary gas fee) and multi-party computations (problems solved simultaneously in fractions by multiple nodes leading to faster execution).

Eliena: Thanks a lot for answering questions from the host.😁 Now moving to our next segment-

Segment 2: Twitter Questions

Q1. From @trend_boldOn one of the Cellframe media, I read the Lego feature for blockchain, Python over C, what do you mean by this feature, and how does it function?Dmitry: Cellframe SDK is based on C implementation, thats give us performance. But for t-dApps there is also Python SDK thats gives quick start as simple as it possible. So we’re trying to balance between performance and easy enter.

Q2. From @trend_boldCan you mention the benefits of the “Cellframe” blockchain by not having an owner address? Wouldn’t it generate a bit of mistrust? And if no one has a private key for a contract with all the funds, how would they access them in the event of an emergency?Dmitry: Main advantage is thats we have no single point where all the funds could be stolen. Then, in this model we could not have smart contract at all, only some kind of smart contract — verificator, thats doesnt hold any funds. So in case of emergency there is no need to access to funds because they’re spreaded between service providers. If anything bad happens you need just to announce emergency shutdown for your verificator, nothing more.

Q3. From @tuan_ikerCurrently, market is becoming very bullish on NFT trend. Can you share your opinion on NFT as a player in the NFT market? And does Cellframe have any plan with NFT?Dmitry: NFT has a great potential thats still undervalued. Yes, we’re planning to implement NFT mechanics in Cellframe and there are palns to build the special VR NFT marketplace.

Eliena: Great thanks and that’s for our twitter question segment.😇 Last question from my Side Where can we find out more about Cellframe Network? Can you share us all your social media links?Dmitry: Pls check our site https://cellframe.net our twitter https://twitter.com/cellframenet and official TG group https://t.me/cellframeMore socials could be found on our site and in TG group as well (Medium, Discord and etc)

Segment 3: Live Questions

Eliena:Thanks😊 Let’s move to our next segment — Live Questions 😇 In this Session, we will unmute the chat for 100 seconds with 60 second slow mode. So everyone can raise their Questions to participate in the AMA.

Make Sure To Join Project group & channel Before Sending Question!! Otherwise No Reward!

Dmitry, you can select 2 best questions and answer them.

Dmitry: okay, so many questions, let me pick up two
Eliena: Just take your own time 😉
Q1. According to the project’s roadmap- what are your most important next priorities?

Dmitry: First priority is to prepare the codebase for 3rd party security audition, it should happens in about a week, then 2 weeks more to over it.Second priority is Mainnet launch planned on 21 March (probably will be shifted for a week or so, depends from audition results )

Q2. "STAKING’’ is one of the STRATEGIES to ATTRACT USERS and HOLD Them long term. Does your GREAT PROJECT have plan about Staking??

Dmitry: Yes, both single-staking and pair-staking. After mainnet launch they will be available.
