Hello everyone, I am Dmitry Gerasimov, CEO of Cellframe Network, and here is our regular AMA session. Let's get started!

Recently, the project team announced Remote mode launch for Cellframe Dashboard. How will the application choose nodes in this mode?

It will not. These nodes will be on our side. At the moment, we decided not to create a dedicated service to provide an RPC API service, so it will be a semi-centralized version of such a service, and all these nodes for Remote mode will be on our side. However, Remote mode can also be used for your own nodes that you launch on your side, but I think that's outside the scope of this question.

Can existing masternodes be used as remote public nodes for Remote mode? If so, how can they obtain this role, and will they receive a separate reward for it?

Yes, they can be used by yourself. However, I am not talking about a public service here, but about your locally installed node. The public service will be based on our own nodes, and it does not include any reward. However, if you run a 100% dedicated service, then it will include a reward for sure. For now, everything will remain on our side.

Which Cellframe consensus — DAG or ESBOCS — is more resistant to quantum threats?

Both are resistant enough. Quantum threats do not affect the consensus itself.

At the beginning of the year, the team announced that accepting new LP stakes would stop. What happens if a user's LP stake expires, but liquidity is still not withdrawn from the pool?

It continues to be present and will collect rewards from Uniswap or PancakeSwap but will no longer collect rewards from our side. However, it will still be accessible.

Is it possible to use Cellframe bridge to send CF-20 tokens directly to a wallet on BitMart?

I think yes.

Judging by the recent KEL listing on BitMart, KelVPN team is focused on supporting the CF-20 token version. What will happen to BEP-20 and ERC-20 tokens?

They must be migrated to CF-20 because CF-20 is the only token standard that is quantum-safe. If you hold BEP-20 or ERC-20 tokens, keep in mind that they are only intermediate tokens that will not survive a quantum apocalypse. So please exchange them for CF-20.

What are the benefits of holding a KEL token?

You can run your KEL VPN node, share your traffic with other users, and earn KEL tokens. You can also use them as payment for a VPN service, just like other service-oriented utility tokens.

Is there a plan to migrate KelVPN liquidity from old smart contracts to new ones? If so, when will this happen?

Yes, we can now migrate because most of the existing tokens have already been migrated. This will happen soon. Anyway, most of the liquidity is expected to be on CF-20, so if you want to migrate from an old smart contract to a new one, it’s better to migrate to CF-20 directly.

Dotflat, a project within the Cellframe ecosystem, specializes in issuing flatcoins. What advantages do they have compared to traditional stablecoins?

Flatcoins are expected to grow faster than stablecoins. In comparison with stablecoins, they should show positive growth because they are tied to real-world assets such as gold, oil, and metals — maybe even grain, depending on the case. All other stablecoins are linked to fiat currencies, which suffer from inflation. Since fiat currencies are based on inflation, this inflation should be reflected in the growth of flatcoins. In essence, a flatcoin acts as an inflation vault.

Is the project team considering implementing a model where developers receive payments for applications launched on the Cellframe platform? This approach could incentivize developers and contribute to ecosystem growth.

Yes, it is already implemented. This approach can attract developers and contribute to ecosystem growth. If you develop your own service, it can be onboarded on-chain with a special service fee. This service fee will be directed to the developer’s wallet, providing an incentive for further development of such services.

Will there be an API for charting sites like CMC, CoinGecko, and DEXTools to retrieve prices from the native DEX?

We are working on this, but there are a lot of bureaucratic hurdles because we changed partnerships in the past. Our old partners were holding accounts for CMC and CoinGecko, and now we are restoring them. Connecting our native DEX is a long road, but I believe we will get it done as quickly as possible.

Any updates on centralized listings and marketing?

As I said before, I cannot comment on anything related to centralized listings. Marketing is ongoing.

How does the launch of other blockchains built on Cellframe, like QEVM, increase the demand for CELL tokens? Please mention various ways.

First of all, there is the CELL auction, which should be launched sooner rather than later. Additionally, to be listed and tradable on the Backbone network, you need to pay fees in CELL.

Have you thought about creating an ecosystem for JavaScript developers within the Cellframe ecosystem?

Yes, we have some JavaScript APIs already. For example, Cellframe Dashboard has a JavaScript API for extensions. We were also developing a JavaScript API for backend development, but it was abandoned. I think we need to revisit it. Additionally, there is a JavaScript library for public JSON API usage, but it is not our own — it is third-party. Anyway, we are focused on supporting JavaScript.

That’s all the questions for today. Thank you all for your attention, your support, and your kind words!
