Hello everyone! I’m Dmitriy Gerasimov, the founder, and CEO of Cellframe. Today is our regular stream with the news and answers to your questions. Despite the treacherous conditions in the market, we believe it’s the perfect time to build something great in accordance with our vision for the future of Web3. Keeping that in mind, today, we will announce some important news to keep the community updated with the recent developments.

Cellframe Bridge

So, first of all, we are preparing to launch a bridge with Ethereum, BNB, USDC, USDT, DAI, and BUSD. Wrapped versions of these tokens into the CF20 standard (thereby rendering them with quantum protection) have already been added to our bridge interface. This takes us one step closer to launching our exchange, where you will soon be able to swap and trade these tokens inside our native protocols.

Cellframe Dashboard

The new version of Cellframe Dashboard (v 2.8) is already available on our website and has some significant and long-awaited changes.

Stock page — Cellframe DEX

Cellframe DEX

Now is the time for updates about the decentralized exchange, or the ‘Stock page.’ For now, the DEX will work in simple mode, and all the tokens available on the bridge will be tradable. It includes CELL, Ethereum, BNB, and stablecoins that I mentioned. We developed the Stock page that includes a candlestick chart, interpolation charts, a stack, order creation forms, open order forms, and order history. It limits order to exchange. The Stock page is built inside Cellframe Dashboard and is already present in the new version of Cellframe Dashboard. However, we’ll launch it with a little delay. We are talking about days — not weeks or months. By the way, you see that right now I can talk about dates for free because it was a big breakthrough last week. We have updated a lot of software, and we have also updated our Node. If you are tracking our development commits history, you could find that we did a lot of updates last week. And I wrote tons of code personally. So thanks to our management team that took all the management things and let me develop. Also, we have stabilized Cellframe Node. So I suggest everyone, who experimented with the Cellframe Node, update it from a master branch or download it from our site. It’s related to our bridge. I have heard about some problems with passing funds through the bridge. Most of these issues are fixed now. At least the last transactions repassed well. If not, write to our support. But, anyway, there are maybe some problems with orders for the Stock, but not for emitted funds. So update your Cellframe Dashboard with a new version and check your balance. It should show all your tokens that passed through the bridge.

Web3 API
The second massive feature that we have released is the Web3 API. It gives us a lot of perspectives and possibilities. For example, now we can connect Cellframe Dashboard to the staking website and stake tokens on our native network. Soon we’ll be running staking with pairs, as we had proposed before, and subsequently single token staking. There will be a small gap between them, or we’ll run it together. We are planning to run it next week. So now, we are already testing them, and with the Testnet, we have a testing site for staking. We are just polishing them.So the current version of Cellframe Dashboard is ready to work with the Web 3 API. Web3 lets us connect third-party apps like KelVPN and lets the KelVPN app work directly with the KEL tokens. About KEL token and KelVPN, we’ll talk a little later.

Native single token staking and LP pair staking

A little more about single token staking, that will be released in the coming weeks. We have developed a mechanism to create staking services term deposits based on which there will be single tokens staking, and users can use it to build their staking services. It differs from what you usually see in the Web3 industry, where if you want to launch your token and start a staking program for your token, you need to develop smart contracts. Here we have something that I call a “no-code environment.” Maybe you have heard something about no-code systems, and here we also have a no-code environment for token launch and staking programs. You don’t need to develop any smart contract. You need to develop your site, and you need to be experienced only in web development. That’s a much lower barrier to entering the crypto industry. To issue your token, you just need to enter a command and compose some requests for token creation. Then you need to pass some audition from our site, and your token is in the system. And you can emit it, operate it as you want, and run your staking program without any code on Solidity or Rust, or something like this. And okay, also about staking, it’ll be launching together, as I said, a pairing token. And single token staking will be available only on the native protocol.

KelVPN development news

Now we are not only talking about Cellframe news, but also I’ll talk to you about KelVPN. Let’s move on to the KelVPN news. There are several at once, and they are all essential and long-awaited.

App for M1 MacOS

Well, ladies and gentlemen, let’s meet the M1 version of KelVPN app for macOS. I’m talking about the MacOS versions for M1, M2, M1 Pro, and other ARM-based apple silicone chipsets. Maybe you had heard before that we were supporting only x86 CPUs. Now we support everything, and that’s an open way for iOS support. By the way, it’s working well over on my laptop, and you can download it from our site right now.

KelVPN Mainnet

KelVPN Mainnet will be launched in a few days. Everything is ready; we’re just polishing things at the moment.

VPN service Node

And the cherry on top now is that you can share VPN in a special Node mode. This mode requires no auditing and all sorts of complications, only staking a certain number of KELs: it will be about 100 thousand. It’s not about verification for blockchain, no. You’re running a simple full Node. You will need to use a mechanism from staking that I mentioned before and stake at least 100 000 KELs. And then you can share VPN and earn on this. Also, we are thinking about running some other staking programs for KEL.

KelVPN work model

t least there’s a service that we proposed before. It’s an earning based on real service, not about some financial operations, and it’s a real service providing. You provide VPN service for people. We have a KelVPN service that brings money. With this money, we can purchase KEL tokens, and the KEL tokens go to you as a reward for providing VPN. This will be run in the nearest days.

KelVPN bridge. KEL token trading

Also, we add KEL tokens to the bridge and will bridge into the Backbone network. For proper performance, Backbone will be natively connected to the KelVPN Mainnet. So you can make money and not limit yourself to anything. There is a development of the upcoming KelVPN version 7.3. We have issue 7.2; it’s already ready for downloading. And about the development: there is 7.3, which will be linked to the Cellframe Dashboard via Web 3 and will work with KEL payments directly. And we also implemented internetwork communications through a special sub-chain hub. It’s on testing right now. And when we cover all the preparations, we’ll run the KelVPN Mainnet. And you will be able to bridge your tokens into the native protocols and earn on VPN providing or use KEL tokens to purchase VPN when we have already released version 7.3. Okay. That’s all about news from our products.

AMA session with Symbiosis

Let’s talk about AMA sessions. We recently participated in the AMA session of our partner, Symbiosis. Yeah, there was an English live broadcast on TwitterSpace. I answered questions from the listeners, whom the guys from Symbiosis connected to the broadcast cheerfully. The next day was an AMA video on Telegram of our partner. It was in Russian, and viewers asked questions in the chat room. And at the end of both sessions, the best questions were awarded as usual. Thank you, by the way, for all the good questions. And we’re thinking about more and more AMA sessions with our friends. It’s good practice. I like it.

Excursion to the IT park in Kazakhstan. Expansion and growth

Just some news about us. We recently visited Kazakhstan: Pavlodar and Nursultan. These are pretty cities. I like them. The hospitable guys from the Nursultan IT park gave us a tour and told us about the IT industry in Kazakhstan. There are excellent conditions for companies that decide to become residents of the IT park. We are considering becoming residents and wondering if we should open a branch. Also, we are saturated with the flavor of mountains and steppes, beautiful nature, birds, butterflies, and horses.

Questions from the community

Okay, let’s now switch to exciting questions from the community.

Is the blockchain ready for play-to-earn games? If so, have you contacted the game studio to try to build something?

Not everything is ready, but we are already connected with such game studios. We’re working closely to add all the things that we still haven’t added, like NFT and smart contracts. But, you know, we have a little different direction of development: to make no code scenario available for third-party developers. For game developers, it’s a little more complicated to prepare no code blocks, but we also want to implement smart contracts. The main issue is to integrate it with .net languages. For the game industry, there are two standards. It’s C ++ and C#. So for .net, we still have no bindings, but we’re working on this.

Are there any issues the community should know about?

All the issues the community should know — I talk about them. I don’t hide anything, maybe I need to hide something, but I’m too open as a person. So the community knows everything that they need to know.

Is it possible to run the project in centralized nodes as a beta version? In case of any bug or any issues the network is under your control?

This is the current situation in the Cellframe mainnet. Backbone is running on a few centralized nodes. And as I read our telegram group, many people are unhappy about this. But unfortunately, we have to do it for the reasons I just told you about this question. It’s because of possible bugs or any troubles. So we need to have the network under our control, and we have it for now.

What are the benefits and uses of the partners of our Cellframe work system?

Well, it will be a long story to explain all our partnerships in a limited time. But I want to tell you about the last two: Symbiosis helps us to bring any tradable token to become wrapped and work on our native protocols. The Empera project helps us with Web3 technologies and smart contracts. They have smart contracts based on JavaScript. By the way, that’s an exciting technology. And others are also useful.

When will be bi-direction bridge functional?

By the way, it’s already ready to be bi-directional, as I told you before. But we need to be sure that everything is stable inside the network. Because if we’re running in two directions and somebody finds any bridge inside our software, he can steal funds and get it out to other protocols. So we need to keep it inside to be able to run hard forks and keep your money inside, and they need to be safe. So we must pass the second stage audit, after which the bridge will be entirely open for public usage.

How is the second stage audit going?

Still not going. First, we need to run a staking program. Staking programs signifies that we are ready for the second stage audition. So it will soon. And maybe in a week or two, we’ll run the second stage audit.

Is the problem in sync fixed?

Mostly yes. All this week, I was involved in sync problems. Right now, it syncs well, at least as we had seen it works. So I cannot promise it will always work, but if you don’t see your funds in your wallet, don’t worry. They will not be lost. We’ll fix some things, and you’ll see on your side. There are some troubles with mem pool synchronization, but when data comes into the blockchain, it synchronizes well.

When will full swing marketing start? How many funds are used till now for marketing?

Until the market is bearish, we work carefully. Right now, we’re preparing some articles. We started to work with influencers again. When? When bull run. When a bull run happens — marketing becomes full swing.

If I launch my token on Cellframe, how do I add utility without a smart contract?

It depends on what utility you need. If you need some utility with transaction operations, you must wait until we prepare smart contracts. You don’t need a smart contract if you need some payment token. We do have smart contract functionality through condition transactions. If you want to issue some service and, you want to use your token for service operations, you don’t need smart contracts. Our vision of industrial blockchain services is to use as few smart contracts as possible. We’ll support smart contracts in the future, so it depends on the utility of your token.

When will Cellframe technology videos be available? I need to explain to my wife why I have invested.

We are working on this, be patient.

Those were all questions that I could answer. Thank you for your attention, and thank you for your support. Goodbye. See you next time!
